Ancient Civilization

One of the most important things about this section is the differences of the homes based on the your status in the community. For example for the higher up individuals in the society get something along the lines of a 'Country Villa', this can include anything along the lines of: A courtyard, porch, vestibule, reception, loggia, bedrooms, bathrooms, closets, and much more.
A loggia is defined as "a room, hall, gallery, or porch open to the air on at least one side" (Shown Below). These can be used to just hang out and there is not any air conditioning so it is a great way to catch the little breeze that may be there. This is a big issue due to the Egyptian climate lacking rainfall, having intense sunlight, and the little variation in temperature.

An important aspect of the Egyptian civilization that helps us know what we know about the culture. The richer one was, the more elaborately they were buried, particularly preserved in tomb. This is because their religion is heavy on the life after death so they put anything of value in the tomb to go to the afterlife with them. This is how we found many things about the way they lived, because there were many piece of furniture recovered from the tombs.
